I found this flickr through one of my favorite blogs (on this page specifically: http://www.sorryimissedyourparty.com/2010/11/new-boyfriend.html)
The flickr consists of a bunch of photos from a punk house in the mid 80s, which looks remarkably similar to the punk houses I have encountered.
